Initial Consultation (90 Minutes)

The initial consultation provides an opportunity to explore your relationship with vaping, understand your reasons for wanting to stop, and identify the changes you would like to make.

Together, we will look at your vaping history, patterns, triggers, and the role vaping currently plays in your life. We will explore what has kept the habit going, identify potential challenges, and develop a personalised plan to support you in becoming vape-free.

Drawing on psychology, neuroscience, and evidence-based therapeutic approaches, I will help you develop a deeper understanding of the thoughts, feelings, and behaviours connected to vaping. We will also discuss how hypnosis works and how it can support you in making and maintaining positive changes.

During this session, you will experience hypnosis firsthand and learn a simple self-hypnosis technique that you can continue using to support your progress between sessions.

Stop Vaping Hypnotherapy Sessions (2 x 60 Minutes)

The follow-up sessions are tailored to your individual experience and progress. These sessions are designed to help reinforce your decision to stop vaping, strengthen your motivation, and address any thoughts, feelings, or situations that may challenge your progress.

Using hypnotherapy alongside evidence-based approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), we will work on developing the mindset, skills, and confidence needed to maintain your change.

Sessions may focus on areas such as managing cravings, changing habitual patterns, building confidence in your ability to remain vape-free, and developing healthier ways of responding to triggers or urges.

Support Between Sessions

A key part of this package is helping you develop skills that you can continue using independently. You will learn self-hypnosis and practical psychological techniques to support your progress outside of sessions and help you maintain your results long after our work together has finished.

Following each appointment, you will receive a summary email containing key points from the session, relevant resources, and instructions for any techniques we have covered.

Most clients find that this package provides the support they need to stop vaping. However, everyone is different, and some people benefit from additional sessions to consolidate their progress or address specific challenges. If further support is needed after completing this package, additional hypnotherapy sessions can be purchased separately.
